Meet the Team

The Staff at Trinity Church are a dedicated group of believers who have a passion for ministry and a desire to see impact in both the church and the community.   • Chris Stephens - Lead Pastor    

    Pastor Chris is the Lead Pastor. He joined the Trinity Church family in 2015. He has served at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Honey Creek United Methodist Church, Irving Park United Methodist Church, and Southport United Methodist Church. He is originally from Speedway, IN and he holds a bachelor degree from the University of Indianapolis. He met his lovely wife Michelle at seminary and they are both graduates of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. They were married in 2009 and their son Robert was born in 2013. Chris has been serving God since his mother stood him up on a piano bench at the age of four to sing Christmas carols to the residents at the nursing home where she worked. Since then he has been proclaiming the grace of God through word and song. He brings a creative approach to preaching and teaching that is centered in the transformative power of God’s love in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Angie Kidd - Deacon

    Pastor Angie joined the Trinity Church family in 2016.  She and her husband, Chris, both grew up in Noble County and graduated from West Noble together.  They have two adult children, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter. Until her appointment at Trinity Church, they were members of Ligonier UMC

    for 28 years where they served on the praise team for over 12 years and held various other leadership roles.  It was Angie's passion for health ministry that led her to found the Health Ministry Network in 2009.  That ministry continues to provide durable medical equipment, caregiver resourcing, and other services in the church and the county.  Angie also has a passion for mission and has traveled to Peru, South America four times with Wheels for the World and Quechua Benefit.  She graduated from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2015 with a Masters in Spiritual Formation and Evangelism. She also holds a certificate in accounting, an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Leadership.  Her primary appointment as a deacon is the Executive Director of Common Grace Ministries,Inc. and she continues to see occupational therapy clients through First Steps.  She is in her second year of residency in ministry and will be ordained as a Deacon in Full Connection in 2018.

  • MJ Judt - Church Secretary

    MJ joined the Trinity Church team in July of 2016.  She has been a Noble County resident since marrying her husband 30 years ago.  MJ and her husband Len are empty nesters, with four married adult children and a handful of grandchildren.  MJ is the communication hub for the church and helps keeps system flowing in a supportive manner to not only the staff but the church body.

  • Phil Muncie - Youth & worship pastor  

    Phil joined the team in May of 2017.  He has worked with many different churches building teams that help facilitate the churches needs.  He has worked in ministry for over 15 years and has a passion to see people grow in Christ.  He and his wife of ten years, work closely with youth, as well as, worship.

  • Debbie Miller - Children's Leader    

    Debbie has been a part of the Trinity family for approximately 10 years. She and her husband Gregg returned to Indiana after Gregg retired from 22 years of military service. Debbie's passion for kids can be evidenced by her list of employment and volunteer connections. She has been involved with Girl Scouts, children ministries, youth ministries and worked at two different daycares. She is a mother of two and grandmother of six. Debbie's high creativity in crafts is an added bonus to the children's ministry area along with her desire to serve.  

  • Janet Gray-Nelson - Nursery Attendant

    Janet has been our paid nursery staff for several years. She has a caring and compassionate spirit when dealing with children. She provides a warm and inviting atmosphere in the nursery every Sunday. One of her other jobs outside of the church is being a part of a Clowning ministry where she is able to use her artistic talent of balloon animals and face painting. She is a great asset to our team.
